680 Series - McKinley

The McKinley is the largest model in the Sundance Spas 680 Series — a 6–7 person hot tub designed for families and anyone who likes to entertain. If you regularly have friends or family round and want a spa that comfortably fits a group without feeling cramped, the McKinley is built for exactly that.

What sets the McKinley apart from other large hot tubs at this price point is the sheer variety of massage it offers. 44 jets across seven different styles — SL Directional, SLR Rotational, SL3 Directional, SL3R Rotational, SL5 Directional, SL5R Rotational and more — means every seat delivers a slightly different massage experience. The directional jets let you aim the water flow exactly where you need it, while the rotational jets provide a broader, sweeping massage pattern. With seven jet types working together, you and your guests can each find a seat that suits them.

The 680 Series sits at the entry point of the Sundance Spas range, but the McKinley doesn't feel like an entry-level spa. At 226 cm × 226 cm × 92 cm with 1,552 litres of water, it's a substantial hot tub — the kind of size where six or seven adults can sit comfortably with space to move. The 92 cm height gives good water depth for a full-body soak, and the generous footwell means you're not bumping knees with the person opposite.

The variable flow waterfall adds a visual and audible element to the experience. It's adjustable — you can set it to a gentle trickle for quiet evenings or open it up for a more dramatic flow. Combined with the multicolour LED lighting, it creates a genuinely inviting atmosphere for evening use.

Water care is handled by two 45 sq. ft. filters paired with ClearRay Active Oxygen UV-C technology. The dual filter setup is important in a spa this size — with more bathers comes more demand on the filtration system, and the twin filters ensure the water stays clean and clear even with regular group use. The ClearRay system treats the water using UV-C light, neutralising waterborne pathogens without adding chemicals or by-products to the water. It means less chemical use overall and cleaner, fresher water.

Power comes from a 2-speed 2.0 hp (2.6 bhp) jet pump. For a 6–7 person spa, this delivers solid performance across all 44 jets. The electrical requirement is a 32 Amp supply (230 VAC, 50 Hz) — standard for a spa of this size and something your electrician can advise on before installation.

Stainless steel jet trim comes as standard on the McKinley. It's a factory-fitted detail that gives the interior a polished, premium look — the trim reflects light through the water, especially noticeable when the LED lighting is on. It's a feature you'd normally expect to see in higher series models, so having it included at the 680 level is a genuine bonus.

Shell colours include Platinum, Porcelain, Monaco, Midnight and Celestite. Cabinet options are Slate and Graphite — both neutral, contemporary finishes that work well in most garden settings.
